A leak from a HP internal video conference, detailing some of the details of the HP slate, has surfaced, hot on the heals of the iPad’s release.
The video, released 05/04/10, shows off a few of the slate’s features, notably many of the features missing from the iPad, including:
- Dual cameras, for video conferencing, taking photos and making movies.
- USB input, allowing external devices to be attached easily, including cameras, printers etc…
- SD Card slot, to either expand the memory or transfer images from a digital camera.
- HD Out, allowing the slate to connect to an external screen or monitor.
- Skype functionality, implying either a built in, or capability for an external, microphone.
All in all quite a feature packed video, perfectly timed, highlighting some of the key features of what looks to be one of the iPad’s best competitors.
