Google Chrome OS and other Linux builds such as Ubuntu, Fedora and SuSe will now be able to use multitouch gestures on their touchpads thanks to Synaptics Gesture Suite™ Linux for TouchPads. The new gesture suite (SGS-L) will enable OEMs to include a range of gesture capabilities on Linux operating systems.
In total, nine gestures are supported by this update including, two-finger scolling, two-finger pinch zoom and two-finger twit rotate.

This free suite will be provided free of charge to Synaptics OEM partners on Synaptics TouchPad and ClickPad™ products.
