Google Chrome OS and Linux devices to get Multitouch with Synaptics Gesture Suite

Google Chrome OS and other Linux builds such as Ubuntu, Fedora and SuSe will now be able to use multitouch gestures on their touchpads thanks to Synaptics Gesture Suite™ Linux for TouchPads. The new gesture suite (SGS-L) will enable OEMs to include a range of gesture capabilities on Linux operating systems.

In total, nine gestures are supported by this update including, two-finger scolling, two-finger pinch zoom and two-finger twit rotate.

Synaptics Gesture Suite™ Linux for TouchPads

This free suite will be provided free of charge to Synaptics OEM partners on Synaptics TouchPad and ClickPad™ products.
