The Neofonie WePad is an iPad clone that runs a custom version of Windows 7. The Atom powered tablet was introduced at a press conference in Germany last week and now a short video demo of its interface has surfaced. The 2:25 minute video shows how you will be able to interact with the device and customize the home-screen widgets.
This tablet is clearly not ready for release though. The touch screen is not yet enabled so the presenter had to use a USB mouse to shoot the demo.

How this device will sell remains unclear but, priced at 449€ (600$) and 569€ (770$) I find it hard to believe people will steer towards the WePad when they can get a real iPad for the around the same price.
