With the upcoming release of the iPad 2, many iPad owners are scratching their heads and wondering if they should upgrade or not. As we have seen this last week, the new Apple iPad 2 offers many news features which improve on the user experience of the first version.

A new dual-core Apple A5 processor
According to recent benchmark information released by iOSnoops, the Apple 5 processor will be a huge leap in performance over its predecessor the A4 in the iPad 1.
Much like the A4, the new A5 chip has a built-in graphics. However, the new graphics engine the the iPad 2 is the most powerful on the tablet market. According to benchmarks, the PowerVR SGX 543MP2 graphics engine will offer much smoother graphics and will have a more realistic look overall. Gamers are sure to be pleased with this upgrade in the iPad 2.

Thinner and lighter is better
We don’t know how they did it, but Apple has trimmed down the thickness of the iPad 2 to 8.8mm and the new version only weighs 1.3 lbs. Compared to the iPad 1 at 13.4mm and 1.5 lbs, this is a major step ahead in portability.

The iPad 2′s form factor has also had a robust redesign. Now with completely rounded edges, the new version of the iPad is much easier to hold than its predecessor.
Not one, but two cameras
After much feedback from its users, Apple has delivered with not just one, but two cameras on the iPad 2. There will now be a front facing VGA camera for video chat with Facetime and a rear facing 720p HD camera to shoot high definition video. The new iPad will also come with Apple Photo Booth app for hours of fun photo manipulation.
