You have waited and waited and it’s finally here. Hackers have finally managed to crack the iPad 2 and come up with a jailbreak solution for Apple’s latest tablet device.
The jailbreaking genius @comex has just released a new website, JailbreakMe.com from which iPhone, iPad and iPad 2 users can jailbreak their devices from within Safari. The whole process takes about 2 minutes and installs Cydia on their homescreen. This of course allows them to install third party apps not available in the Apple App store. Users may also customize their device by installing themes and custom widgets.
This new jailbreak method is the safest way to jailbreak your iPad 2. According to the developer, it is strictly impossible to brick your device using this method. In any case, you can alway revert back to the un-jailbroken state by doing a restore from iTunes.
