Microsoft’s efforts to sell their Tablet PC’s to students have never really paid off. Will the tablet change the course of the Microsoft tablet?

Only a last month we announced Panasonic’s new H1 Field, an incredibly durable and strong tablet PC from the world renowned electronics manufacturer. Panasonic have now announced the planned release of a far less expensive device, by around $1000, called the Touchbook C1.

As Dell gets ready to step into the smartphone market, the company debuted a tablet prototype they plan to launch this year. The device, aimed at sharing digital content, will have a 5-inch screen.
